It is not uncommon for our facilities to be reserved more than a year in advance. Complete a Rental Request Form found as a link under Rental Information.

Fair Week

Can I open a food booth during the fair?

All of our concessions are operated by non-profit, community organizations who are members of the Rockingham County Fair Association. We don't permit outside food vendors.

Do I have to pay to get into the Fair?

Yes - During our annual Fair, you will need to pay gate admission to enter the Fairgrounds. We have specials almost every day and offer advanced, discounted tickets on our website. Check the daily event schedules to see our specials and make the most of your trip! We offer MANY shows for the price of gate admission, so enjoy all the FUN!

Do you have high-speed WiFi internet available?

Yes - We have high-speed, broadband Wi-Fi available throughout the Fairgrounds. It is absolutely free and no password is required.

Can I camp or rent an RV space at the fairgrounds during Fair week?

Camping is not open to the general public during Fair week. We have three designated camping areas for volunteers, livestock exhibitors, and carnival ride workers only.

Can I bring my pet to the Fair?

With the exception of Service Animals, no pets are allowed on the grounds during Fair week. The ADA defines a Service Animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability.

Are the grounds paved?

Yes! One of the upgrades we're most proud of in recent years are the paved walkways inside the grounds.

Can I bring my own private golf cart to the Fair?

No. Insurance requirements and our safety policy do not allow private golf carts to be operated by the public on Fair property during Fair week. Scooters and other mobility devices are OK, but no private golf carts are allowed by the public.

Do I have to pay to park?

Parking is always free during Fair week.

Is smoking allowed at a concert or other grandstand events?

The Pepsi Grandstand is designated as a non-smoking area.

Do you have a lost and found?

We sure do. Just call the main office at (540) 434-0005 and we'll see if someone has turned in your lost item. This is also where you turn in things you might find during the fair. We always like reuniting owners with their lost belongings!

Do you have handicap seating (ADA) for your concerts?

Yes - Call our Fair office at 540-434-0005 for assistance.
